L33t Crafts

I love the geek culture and subtle geek references throughout everyday life, but as I develop my crafty side more and more with scrapbooking, photography, and crochet, the more I wish I had the ingenuity to come up with a geeky creation.

Then, I found this awesome blog [ GeekCrafts ] that has tons of ideas on nerdy crafts. This blog has a whole tux cake [Courtesy of Joseph Hall]!

I thought rickrolling the boyfriend's birthday cake last year was nerdy. Awesome. My two-year-old is definitely in for it when he asks me to make his first costume.

QWERTY Stepping Stones

Ekaterinburg, Russia. Blogging makes us producers of the news, but it wouldn't be possible without our trusty peripherals. A monument in Russia pays tribute to geek culture with these QWERTY stepping stones (Although function keys 1,2, and 3 are non-existent.) One question, is there a usb plug in?

I want to spray a Cmd Key on it.
